"Really enjoyed our stay. The staff was fantabulous."
Cafe food. In that location was a tremendous diversity every day, merely some of the dishes left a bit to be desired.
Everything was great except for some dishes at the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets, which could take used a fleck more than flavor. Loved the pool expanse., but if yous didn't get up really early, all the chairs effectually the pool with umbrellas would be taken.

"I withal bask the Barcelo and plan to stay there again anytime."
I didn't like that our sliding door was well-nigh impossible to open and close. We told them about it so they could become it fixed. That being said I couldn't complain likewise much as we were able to walk right to the Premium area and get out chairs for the day. It was literally right in front of our room. 30 2d walk. This is a repose area.
I've been to the Barcelo earlier. I returned considering information technology'due south right on the embankment, shut to downtown San Jose del Cabo, has some nice pools and activities and it's small enough to be peaceful. I opted for Premium services this time and it was worth the actress coin.

"The stay was well worth information technology"
In that location'due south seems to some labor issues with Barcelo. The local union was protesting benefits and working conditions. Also, the public spaces are little worn around the edges. The infinity pool could apply some updating. Other spaces seem closed or nether utilized.
The food was practiced. there was a variety of different options each day. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. In general I would rate this a elevation stay for an all inclusive vacation.

"Go to Hacienda del Mar for a trivial extra"
-Onetime, super noisy AC. -Construction in the Viceroy (hotel directly side by side to Barcelo) starting around seven.thirty AM which is really noisy. -Bed upon arrivad was not cleaned (hair etc. were "found" all over the linen)

The staff was friendly and helpful - it was a cracking place to stay - we beloved all inclusive too!
We loved the belfry bar at Sunset and nosotros love our corner room on the bottom floor. Well worth the upgrade!

the nutrient was skilful, not peachy and very little option of restaurants , booze had to be extremely watered downwardly considering later on several drinks couldn't "feel" anything

"Great Mid-Level Spread-out Resort"
- Discrimination alive and well. Men 'must' wear closed toe shoes (fifty-fifty hiking boots) to premium restaurants while women can wearable crap flip flops or crocks or annihilation actually. Not sure how many men have closed shoes for a trip to the tropics. I get the long pants (well sort of but not really) merely shoes? Plus women and men wearing short jean shorts and nothing said. Come up on!!! Care for all guests the same. - Notice given to not save chairs or your towels will be removed. Well you lot know how that goes? It'due south BS every bit you lot go to breakfast and see ten lines up with a single towel on it and hours subsequently the yahoos testify up as they have been sitting on other chairs. Staff need to deal with this as I'm tired of throwing peoples crap off the chair and then I can enjoy the puddle for an hr. - Covid mask wearing requirements. Staff are all very compliant with wearing masks all day long in the heat. It'due south the idiot tourists that are disrespectful to other tourists and staff past either not wearing masks when inside and/or wearing them under their noses. At to the lowest degree fifty% don't follow the regulations. Arrogance and staff reluctant to enforce. Staff eager to enforce no open shoes for men but enforce masks. Problem is, many Americans can travel when not vaccinated. - Vegan Food - lack of. Limited variety- Staff of life/Toast (no peanut butter), Oat Milks, seeds, fruits and salads, tomato plant pasta. They exercise have cereal merely we brought our own. - Umbrellas - nigh are broken or have to be jimmied to work. At least restring them. - Starbucks on-site. What a joke, bought 2 small blackness java $150 pesos ($9). - Wifi spotty - The Premium lounge has bang-up selection of top shelf booze simply it's a weird picayune business eye and strange bar on acme of a cabinet. Nada special hither. Ugly - Habanero Peppers are placed near the egg and/or soup counters. They are mixed with non-evasive peppers in a bowl and are roasted and look yummy. I ate 1 and immediately was sick.
- Staff are wonderful. Very welcoming and professional person. This goes for all staff - attendant, reception, pool guys, servers, etc. Delight tip they work hard for you. - Covid testing on-site. Best prices in San Jose. $150 Canadian for PCR examination (also bad our government requires it of vaccinated citizens to enter their own country). $25US antigen exam if y'all are American. - Food is very good & varied, best nosotros take had in an all-inclusive. Too bad nosotros missed the seafood eatery that is offered but once a week. Lots of seafood at other restaurants tho. Best ceviche at lunch. Shrimp Taco (gild 2) at Mexican and Rib centre at Italian (non on menu only ask). - Reception willing to exchange bills. We only use pesos and need lots of $20 pesos for tips ($1.20 cdn). Better deal than All those using US to purchase items here - pay more. - Music at pool is a nice add-on and not always excessively loud and rarely anyone on a PA or Mic System (thanks for that) - Rooms are basic but large and come with a well stocked fridge including bottled water. - Premium package is very prissy. Body of water front, premium booze and a few other perks similar being able to reserve restaurants for your whole stay. Plus a sun expanse with chairs and umbrellas which they enforce for premium only guests. - Beach Vendors can't come on Barcelo property. If you want you can go to them or avert them if y'all walk the embankment. They really are not a problem tho and who doesn't like a trinket or two. - Adult puddle & Adult hot tub. Ever appreciated - Towels - no requirement to exchange or lose $50 - Games & Sports - lots of them. Pool, volleyball, mini basketball, ping pong, corn hole toss, etc.

"Because of being at that place before the xmas rush, the hot tub and a few elevators were out of service"
I was checked into my ocean front room but it had a single bed just my reservation was for a double bed. I took over an hour of getting that sorted out as they help newly arrived guest so I had to look and wait

The Wifi.
Food and accomodations were skilful. The wifi didn't connect which was non skillful if you need the internet on your reckoner. I had to use my phone/data service to become the internet, non as conveniant as my estimator.

The nutrient was very basic and but ok. No wow factor.
I felt safe traveling without my husband at the location I stayed in the Ambassador Suite a very spacious room.
